Thank you for reuploading this. I was scratching my head trying to remember what this game was called. I think, given time, the argument that the game presents in favor of gun control is still very cogent, but somewhat limited in scope compared to the rhetorical baggage that such a controversial topic harbors. 

From an Australian perspective, his views make sense. It's not like an Australian would have reason to care about the nuance of US politics. Guns: they're lethal than other commonplace weapons; we got rid of them in the 90s and casualties went down -- what's more to say? Well, perhaps a game like this in where you could choose from several guns of different calibers and action so that the audience could understand how drastically more fatal larger caliber rounds are compared to 22s. Maybe they could select guns with different actions so they understand the difference between automatic and semi-automatic. So many points to make, it's almost impossible to touch on them all. That's the issue with most political topics, isn't it? It's almost as if social media renders such discussions inert through flak.

In the end, the nuance would have been wasted anyways, since, unfortunately, the reaction to this game was mostly disdain and agitation. But maybe people might revisit this game one day and read it with a more reverent tone?
